Getting started with Melo

This process aims to get you signed in and walks you through a few basic tasks to get you going. If you get stuck, contact your local Melo administrator for some quick hands on help, or email us at support@melo.health and we’ll be in touch asap.

Overview

  1. Activate your account

  2. Enter your first patient data

1. Activate your account

  1. Open your invitation email and click “Create account

  2. Enter your email address in the Sign in page (this is the email account used in the previous step)

  3. Click “Continue” (this will send you a security email)

  4. Open the security email and copy/paste the code inside into the security code page

  5. Click “Continue

  6. Enter a long memorable password in both boxes (use this specified password for future logins)

  7. Click “Continue

  8. Enter your first and last names

  9. Click “Save changes

  10. Click “Accept & continue” on the T&Cs box

  11. Download Melo to your device for a better experience (optional)


2. Enter your first patient data

  1. On the left, click “Patients

  2. Choose a patient to review (can’t see the patient you want? Add them)

  3. Add a some personalised background to help others empathise with the person

  4. Add a Care tip i.e. anything you’ve found effective when caring for this patient

  5. Submit your first behavioural assessment (OASMNR, SASBA, ABC, or ABS depending on your organisation)

  6. Finally, invite a teammate to Melo
