Wards

Wards are used to identify, group, and filter patients in Melo.

Adding a ward

  1. Navigate to the Manage organisation page

  2. Scroll to the Wards section

  3. Click “Add ward

  4. Enter the name of the ward

  5. Click “Add”


Updating a ward

Updating the name of a ward will immediately be reflected wherever this ward is referenced. This action will not affect which patients are assigned to this ward.

  1. Navigate to the Manage organisation page

  2. Scroll to the Wards section

  3. Click update/pen button next to the relevant ward

  4. Enter the new name of the ward

  5. Click “Update”


Deleting a ward

Deleting a ward will not delete patients assigned to this ward. Any patients assigned to the ward after deletion will have no ward assigned.

  1. Navigate to the Manage organisation page

  2. Scroll to the Wards section

  3. Click delete/trash button next to the relevant ward

  4. Confirm in the dialogue box
